November 8th (6PM) to November 9th (6PM) 2025
The Doer, Doing, and Done is all the Lord
Aum Sri Sai Ram!
On the evening of November 8th all the centers participated in offering a special prayer on the Lord’s Centennial Birthday at Temple Beth-El located in Hillsborough, New Jersey.
Unless I am prompted from within I do not go to just any venue. On Saturday, I watched the livestream televised and switched between other venues including the one that was taking place in Prasanthi Nilayam.
Only on Sunday was I prompted to attend the event around 2:00PM. I immediately ironed my white dhoti, kurta, and white scarf and simply placed it near Swami’s feet at the altar.
Within a few minutes he said “it looks very bland and you need to wear much brighter colors.” So my outfit was now changed to a yellow and orange dhoti, white kurta and white scarf.
Then again he said “What would people think about this?” So he then advised: “wear white pants and a white shirt, no scarf.” I was visibly getting tired of so many outfit changes within such a short span of time. Each time he instructed, I naturally had to iron each article of clothing before wearing them.
EXPECT MY UNCERTAINTY!!!
When I went to take a shower he said “this is the final product. Wear an orange shirt, black dhoti, and a white scarf. I said to Swami; “the only thing missing is green and I will look like the Indian flag!”
He questioned, “do you know why?”
When purity (white) meets divinity (orange) it removes all negativity (black).
In the entire hall of 600 plus devotees I was the only person in a dhoti let alone all the other colors which were standing out basically saying “hey look at me! Look at my outfit!”.
Last year a similar situation occurred but I was wearing only white pants and a shirt. I sat all the way at the end on a chair to not disturb anyone in case I did fall into a trance. At 5:00PM the power was short circuited and I was trying to catch my friend's hand on my right side, but it happened so fast I couldn’t stop my falling.
My head ended up twisted in and around the feet of the chair and all the people in the back row had to be pulled away and had to remove all the chairs. Some people easily became worried and were frantically looking for a physician but trust me when I say there are no shortages of doctors at an Indian gathering. But this was no medical circumstance by any means.
One of the individuals from our center knew my situation and told everyone to stay away and to not touch my physical body, as I was experiencing very high levels of energy from the divine master. He assured everyone that he will eventually come back on his own feet when he is ready.
Fast forward to this Sunday of Swami’s celebration, I definitely did not wish to repeat the same story again. After arriving at 2:00PM I refrained from engaging in any sort of conversation with anyone, went directly into the hall, and sat directly on the ground.
At 2:19PM the same thing happened and I heard a loud noise; the power was gone again. I was in deep meditation and did not know anything about what was happening and eventually was able to open my eyes. By then it was close to 5:30PM.
On Thursday, November 13th I had a dentist appointment at 10:30AM. One of my close friends called and stated that he heard from his friend who was at the global Akhand Bhajan that when you sat on the ground you had immediately gone into a deep meditation. Manu Bhai saw Shirdi Baba entering into my physical space but it wasn't the first time as a similar occurrence happened in Mylapore back in 2012. (To read more on that experience: https://divine-blessings.
Many people who were able to witness such a moment came forward and took the blessings. As per one devotee they said “You were like a stone. You didn’t move in any direction.”
A few noticed vibhuti manifesting on my palms and fingertips.
I thanked my friend and proceeded to go to my appointment. After sitting in the dentist chair, the doctor came out and said “today we can’t do this procedure as your insurance has run out of benefits. We are going to need to reschedule for January.”
Now I had so much free time I didn’t know what to do. Near our house there is a Shirdi Baba temple.I had attended the Prana Prathishta when the temple was inaugurated in 2016 and attended all the rituals for 3 days. Since then I have not gone back.
I found myself sitting there debating if I should go in or just go back home.
Finally after several attempts and oscillating thoughts I went inside. Just at that moment the Abhishekam was being performed for Shirdi Baba. There were only two other elderly people other than the priest.
Even though my friend had narrated the story regarding Shirdi Baba entering my physical space I wanted to hear it directly from the person who had actually witnessed it.
Manu Bhai called and said “I was driving so I couldn’t call you to narrate the experience I witnessed at the Global Akhand Bhajan.”
Another friend called me while I was in the temple to ask for my blessings as he was going to meet a prospective buyer of a business. After attending my phone calls I went inside to hear soul-stirring bhajans sung by this elderly couple. Later on another man came and sang Lingashtakam. I was transported to Kailasam, the abode of Shiva.
The priest beckoned me to help him with removal of the plastic covering around the Navagrahas as I was taller in stature . Then he said ‘I remember seeing you when this temple was built!”
Please come back on Friday morning for Kalasam Pooja for Maha Lakshmi and also on Saturday morning for Prana Prathishta of Maha Lakshmi. I said I was not sure as I had an eye doctor appointment on Friday.
Saturday I did not end up attending knowing that level of energy would surge through me and without any friends who know my experiences that type of impact many people will not know how to handle it.
At noon, the Arati was offered and by then over 150 people had come to witness. There was so much prasadam that I couldn’t believe it. As I was exiting the building the same elderly man approached and said “you are the first person to come in and are leaving without taking any prasad!”
In his hand he had a box of orange Mothichoor Ladoo. I took one and said “whatever I received today was a lot more than I ever expected. This is more than enough.
I didn’t want to stay behind and make loose connections or conversations with anyone.
It started with Shirdi Baba and ended with Shirdi Baba.
Aum Sri Sai Ram!!
