Mahashivarathri Message Feburuary 27, 2014

 

Early morning on this Shivaratri day I had such uncontrollable love for the whole world which I cannot explain in any words. During the day I visited the Durga temple where I had the privilege of performing the Abhishekam to the Lord Shiva which was then followed by a satsang at a friend’s place. Sai Baba also presented me with an opportunity to perform Abhishekam to Shirdi Sai Baba. There was an evening of very vibrant bhajans for the Lord Shiva, in which I lost my consciousness due to the strength of the energy. Finally a rudram mahanyasam at the Shirdi temple again took place where I had the beautiful opportunity to perform Abhishekam to our Lord Shiva.

Thank you swami for keeping me in your thoughts and visions all day long.

2-27-14 to 2-28-14 (5-5:30am)

I am in a crowded marketplace and see a man taking some animals away: a cow, goat, horse and two tigers. All of a sudden, the tigers’ energy shifts and there is chaos everywhere!! It starts to roar and jump on things it can get a grip on. All the while the man is trying to control the tiger (beast) to the best of his ability.  Finally, after many tries when he no longer can control the beast and save the cattle he shoots and hits the tiger directly in the head (bullseye) and the tiger collapses. The other tiger gets loose in all this commotion, starts to run in the marketplace, and all the people are frantically running for their lives trying to hide and escape from this ferocious animal. The authorities are trying to contain this tiger but it keeps escaping from their hands. There was a small boy and myself. We see a big wooden box and the boy says let's go and hide inside so this way we will spare our lives from the tiger. I can see the tiger sniffing where it would get his next meal. 

The tiger, long and slender, which has not been fed in a while, was pacing outside the box. The boy says "even if it eats me it would not satisfy its hunger so why don’t you offer yourself as you are much bigger than me." "This way it will spare my life" says the boy. I agree and get seated in a lotus position and start chanting the lord’s name. There is a bit of anxiety as he is getting closer and closer and my heart rate is increasing rapidly. The tiger nudges at the side. I can feel his presence as he pushes the wood and enters the box. I sit nervously all the while chanting the name of the lord faster and faster and finally offer myself to the tiger. This vision came on this mahashivarathri day 2-27-14. It has a very deep significance. It is not a story about a boy and the tiger, it is very profound. Think of The Lord at all times and surrender unconditionally he will take care of your lives.

Energy Day to Day

I was a regular volunteer/devotee at Shri Rajaganapathi temple in Swedesboro, New Jersey. I used to go every Friday regularly for 3 years, without fail, and people used to wonder as to what was propelling me to go that far. The temple was nearly 70miles one way, and it would take a minimum of one hour with no traffic and sometimes more. I would go about as if I was going to work with absolutely no thinking, not that I was doing anything Extraordinary in the temple. I would help the priest wherever the need was in their daily routine and over the time I became very close with the priests family. I have had many experiences in that temple with the lords, where I would go into a trance and at times remember the details as to where I was. Whenever there were functions I would be called to participate in carrying the kalasam (water which has been purified by mantras and sholakas) which enhances the energy in the vessel. On one such Function I was asked to carry the kalasam into the Sanctorum and as the procession was led by several devotees I also followed them and I could not believe that a small vessel of water could be that Heavy, and I was huffing and puffing that it weighed nearly a 1000 lbs., and finally handed the item To the priest, I was in a trance and no one could contain my energy would scream and finally collapse on top of the stairs or steps face forward and never have I had a fracture or broken bone in those circumstances? When the energy is high you are not in control and whatever you utter comes out true. I met a Dr. Sesadri das who was a prominent cardiologist in Staten Island practicing for several years, with two daughters. One had gotten married several years ago and wanted to have children, but even after several attempts they were unable to conceive. They had consulted various places and astrologers and spiritual gurus and still no chance of conceiving. Dr.Das who was a regular attendee at the temple. He went to priest and was telling him of his daughters situation and the priest said ask Koushik he can help you. I want to say I am no way educated in this subject matter relating to this topic that I can help a doctor. He leaned forward and said "my daughter is married for several years and trying to conceive but nothing is happening". I did not even take a minute to think and said that in the next nine months she will have twins. I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Das and family in one of the temple functions and he came forward and said whatever you said it came true. Till date I keep in touch with Dr. Das and family who shared all there most important decisions with me even though I've wondered why? I am in no way better than any one of you. If anything I have the grace of my gurus and The Lord who instruct and speak thru me. I am glad that I am able to be of assistance and support to some families.

Charting Our Destiny (Predetermined By the Universe)

I have been told by many readers to write new writings from time to time. I am not the one writing and do not have experience on daily basis and do not the topic. From my early childhood my horoscope was charted out and interpreted by many and one of them was my grandfather (mother’s side) and all the things that he had predicted has come true so far. I am always amazed by that. We all think that we are molding and shaping our destiny but there is some other force which has already decided for us as to how our lives are going to be, no matter how much we try otherwise. Grandfather had told me that the business that I was in will not flourish and after a gap of few years I will come into another and will be successful. Well I wanted to try and prove that I was in control and can shape my business not to lose but he was right I did lose and after a gap I started again. There were a lot of things that he had predicted and things are unfolding as time goes forward, as if we are shown everything together we will not appreciate the value. I had gone on a trip to Sabrimalai a few years ago and that was shown to me in a vision by our swami Sathya Sai Baba who had handpicked the people who are going to be involved in making the trip a success. He was the guru swami who had guided me thru the journey. After telling about my experience to my wife's cousin Raghav, who has been going to Sabrimalai since childhood, has taken to my guru swami in accompanying him to Sabrimalai. After the completion of the trip in January 2014 he said please ask Koushik to call me. Raghav replied I will send him an e-mail. Guru Swami has no e-mail so call him. He did call and left a message, and I called guru swami back. He claimed I know when my devotees are in distress I know you have problem in your legs and are Going thru difficult times.it hurts me to see you in pain. The Melshanthi at Sabrimalai wants to see your horoscope. I asked him why. I have been going to Sabrimalai for 52 years and have never encountered a divine experience as I had when I went with you and have shared that with each and every one who has traveled with me since. There is something about you. Guru swami I am an ordinary person who has absolutely no education, or spiritual knowledge how can I be that special? He said when I saw you I knew who you are and what you are born for? You are like a Rice grain and quoted something about Krishna and Duryudana I don’t remember the story as he was speaking let alone trying to write about it. He emphasized that I had to send the horoscope to him at the earliest. I again said swami I only a small fish in this ocean why is that you are making such a big deal. I know who you really are and time will tell. My grandfather had told me a few highlights: 1-you will be in business only (even though my father tried his level best to change my course but the higher self-proved otherwise.) 2. Will be the richest person in the family (I guess he was not talking monetary but spiritual) as I have family members more successful in monetary. 3-will retire early from business (which many people and situations have made me to leave). 4. Will be very much involved in philosophy and there will be people waiting eagerly to hear what you have to say. (This I have not experienced yet and maybe it is in the works) as I have heard the same from others as well. Question still remains in me "who am I" that I can even fathom all these things. Reading various books that everything is Maya then where do all these things fit in. Do not pray to god and ask why me? Or ask him to alter your life (taking from the privileged and spreading it with families who are in dire need) as it affects the entire universe. Rather pray for strength, courage, and wisdom for you to endure the situation. On this beautiful snow day where everything has come to a standstill, I have been instructed to write these words. What connection does it have to anyone……I have no idea.

Energy (Day-To-Day) Mundane Things in Which We Cannot Fathom

I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Viswanathan, brother of a friend, who came to New Jersey to visit his sister in her daughter’s house. She had mentioned that I have had several intuitions and spiritual visions of the lord and could describe them very clearly. Upon hearing them he wanted me to write them down for future reference both mundane and spiritual. I did not find that the mundane things were of interest to anyone so I did not write about them. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr.Viswanathan in his residence in Los Angeles on February 12, 2014 and again he reminded me to write everything which I was able to connect with without omitting anything as it might not make sense to some but will be useful to someone else. While I was on vacation with my wife in San Francisco, we met up with a few friends that we had not seen in a long time. We met at a restaurant to catch up and my wife's cousin also lives in the area who was getting married soon so we had called her to meet up with us as well. When we were all ready to leave I walked over to my wife's cousin and said let me see your new car. My wife and friends asked how you knew that she had bought a new car let alone a BMW. There was no way of me knowing this being that her cousin joined us much later and from where I was sitting I could not see her park the car. All I could say is that I just knew. Everyone followed to see it unfold in front of their eyes that it was in fat a BMW which was purchased only a day before. I am always intrigued by that energy. That which is materialistic and which is divine.
